This is a collaborative project involving ten students from Curtin University's NET205 elective. We hope to answer the following question:

"What is the fundamental economic basis of Internet Commerce"

E-commerce has gained much publicity in Australia in recent years due in part to the strong Australian dollar. This has led to the further prolifiration of money being spent online by consumers. Goods purchased can be traditional physical items or digital goods such as e-books or applications.

In this study we look at one of the champions of global e-commerce, Amazon. We look at the history of Amazon and how they have provided, innovated and evolved to keep their sales growing. How they ensured that they captured their market and how they ensured repeat custom by really pulling apart customer purchasing and browsing habits.

Communication

We are using Wiggio as our main form of communication. Click here to go to the Internet Explorers Wiggio page.

Our secondary form of communication is via Wikidot. Click here to go to the Internet Explorers Wikidot discussion forum.

If all else fails and you need to email a group member, the available email addresses are in this discussion thread.

Brainstorming

We are using Mind Meister to create a mind map. We need to brainstorm and organise our thinking before we can make a start on adding content to this Wiki.
